About Mike Shaw

Mike Shaw Buick GMC is a family owned and operated dealership. Mike Shaw  was raised in South Texas and graduated in 1968 with a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University.  In 1968, while attending graduate school, he began working in the auto industry. After graduation, Mike Shaw became an officer in the United States Army and spent one year in Vietnam. In the mid-1990's Mike Shaw purchased a Chevrolet dealership in Denver with the help of the GM Minority Dealers Program.  In 2000, he purchased the Buick GMC store in Colorado Springs. Mike and his wife Nancy have been married for over 40 years and have three children and three grandchildren.  They have always had strong and generous ties to Colorado Springs and Denver.  Over the past ten years, Mike and Nancy have given over $4 million to the community and have helped raise over $25 million for community and non-profit organizations .
